La Zwina Boutique was started by a Muslimah inspired by the endless possibilities of modest and modern fashion. La Zwina Boutique offers women with modest yet stylish clothing where every women can feel comfortable and confident. It all started from under tent at pop and bazzar events. Our boutique is unique as it continues to serve all women especially our large Muslimah population here in Orange County by providing daily modest wear that can be difficult to impossible to access in regular retail stores. Our mission is to empower all women who choose a modest lifestyle without having to compromise their individuality or lifestyle.
Why the name La Zwina Boutique?
La Zwina Boutique comes from the language Darija which means "The Beautiful Boutique" Darija is the native language of Moroccans, and it's understood across many North African countries. Our intention with La Zwina was to reflect beauty through modesty-creating a warm, welcoming space for anyone who embraces a modest lifestyle.
The name also represents diversity. La Zwina Boutique is one of the first business names in the Little Arabia District that highlights a North African dialect.
Our name often sparks beautiful conversations with customers, and many leave learning a new word - Zwina.
