About La Zwina Boutique

Modesty. Beauty. Culture. Community.
La Zwina Boutique was created by a Muslimah who saw endless possibilities in modest, modern fashion and wanted to make beautiful, stylish clothing easier to find.

What began under a tent at local pop-ups and bazaar events has grown into a boutique serving women throughout Orange County and beyond.

We created La Zwina to offer modest yet stylish fashion where women can feel comfortable, confident, and completely themselves. Our collections are thoughtfully selected for women who embrace modesty without wanting to compromise their individuality, personal style, or lifestyle.

As a boutique in Orange County’s Little Arabia District, we are proud to serve our growing Muslimah community while welcoming all women who choose a modest lifestyle. We know how difficult it can be to find beautiful, everyday modest clothing in traditional retail stores and we’re here to make that search a little easier.

Our mission is simple: to empower women to dress modestly while expressing their own unique beauty and style.

Why “La Zwina”?

La Zwina Boutique comes from Darija, the Moroccan Arabic dialect, and means “The Beautiful Boutique.”

Darija is the native language of Morocco and is also understood across parts of North Africa.

We chose the name La Zwina because it represents what we believe in: beauty through modesty, culture, individuality, and community.

Our name also celebrates our North African connection. La Zwina is proud to be one of the business names in the Little Arabia District that highlights a North African dialect and brings a little piece of Moroccan culture into our community.

And one of our favorite things?

Our name sparks conversations.

Customers often ask, “What does Zwina mean?” and leave with a new word and sometimes a new appreciation for Moroccan culture.

Beauty. Modesty. Culture. Community.

That’s La Zwina.

Beauty, modesty & culture - all in one name.
